Jordan released by Redblacks

Former Chatham-Kent Secondary School quarterback Ethan Jordan was released by the CFL’s Ottawa Redblacks last week.

Jordan was on Ottawa’s practice squad roster after being drafted earlier this year in the CFL draft in the sixth round, 51st overall. He played in two pre-season games with Ottawa.

A three-time all-Canadian selection as a receiver at Wilfred Laurier University, Jordan has the option of returning to play for the Golden Hawks, as he still has one year of eligibility left.
