Vote for your Barnstormers

The Intercounty Baseball League all-star game will take place in Hamilton on July 20.
Fan voting opened up last week.

A number of Chatham-Kent Barnstormers players are among the leading top-three vote-getters for the South Team, with voting continuing until July 7.

Among the Barnstormers is the running for spots include catcher Mitzuki Fukuda (third), second baseman Evan Morrison (first), third baseman Yushin Ohta (second), shortstop Sadler Goodwin, relief pitcher Eric Pettipiece (second), starting pitcher Yuri Yokoyama (third), designated hitter Owen Constantineau (second).

Voting can be done on the league’s website (www.theibl.ca/vote) to send players to the All-Star Showdown.

The Barnstormers are currently in second place in the IBL with a 13-8 record.
