All Meyskens final at All-Ontario bonspiel

Jerry Meyskens, far left, and his team, Bob DeVolder, Jordan Douglas and Randy Meyskens, won the 39th annual All-Ontario Farmers Bonspiel on the weekend. Jerry Meyskens defeated his brother Dave Meyskens and his team in the final.

Oh brother. It was a Meyskens versus Meyskens final at the 39th All Ontario Farmers Bonspiel, held at the Sydenham Community Curling Club just outside of Wallaceburg this past weekend.

Team Jerry Meyskens defended their title against Team Dave Meyskens, winning 6-3.

For Jerry Meyskens it’s his tenth Farmers win. His teammates, Bob Devolder (nine), Randy Meyskens (five) and Jordan Douglas (second), have also been on winning Farmers teams in the past.

Dave Meyskens, who was looking for his first Farmers championship, had James Dunlop, Jason Sayer and Al Kominek on his team.

Jerry and Dave’s dad Joe Meyskens, who died in 2012, won three Farmers championships.
