Last year, Jordan Durston was part of the Minto Cup champion Six Nations Arrows from the sidelines. This year, he was front and centre on the floor.

Durston and the Arrows took game 6 Saturday night by a 9-4 score to win the Canadian Junior A championship 4-2.

Durston played a dominant role in the victory, scoring 2 goals and adding 3 assists for 5 points in the deciding game in front of close to 2000 fans.

Overall, Durston had 4 goals and 12 assists for 16 points in the 6 game series.

The Six Nations Arrows won the Minto Cup last season, but Durston was sidelined with a knee injury for the duration of the series. Wallaceburg teammate Joel Shepley was a part of last year’s winning team.
