Durston Wins Second Minto
Durston and the Arrows took game 6 Saturday night by a 9-4 score to win the Canadian Junior A championship 4-2.
Durston played a dominant role in the victory, scoring 2 goals and adding 3 assists for 5 points in the deciding game in front of close to 2000 fans.
Overall, Durston had 4 goals and 12 assists for 16 points in the 6 game series.
The Six Nations Arrows won the Minto Cup last season, but Durston was sidelined with a knee injury for the duration of the series. Wallaceburg teammate Joel Shepley was a part of last year’s winning team.
