Chatham-Kent skaters finish well at National Junior Competition

Two local skaters represented the Western Ontario Skating Section and the Chatham-Kent region at the 2011 BMO Skate Canada Junior National Competition in Victoria, BC on January 17 and 18. 
 
Chelsea Robinson, from the Chatham Skating Club, and her partner, Nicholas Toth, from the Blenheim Skating Club competed in the Novice Dance category. 
 
They started with their 2 pattern dances, the Paso Doble with 10.22 points, and the Westminster Waltz with 10.99 points.  With a combined total of 21.21 points, they ranked in 14th place.
 
They following day they skated their freedance, in which they achieved 38.70 points.  With a total combined score of 59.91 points they placed with a final position of 14th place at this National competition.Two Chatham-Kent skaters competed in the BMO Junior National Skate Competition finishing 14th in the dance category.
