Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith continued to have the hot hand as his 8th place London Knights lost to the 1st place Owen Sound Attack in OHL playoff action. London got out to an early 3-1 lead in the game; however, they quickly allowed the Attack to storm back into the game for a 5-3 win.

Just as he was last season, Griffith has been a catalyst to his team in the playoffs. In the first game of their series against Owen Sound, Griffith had 2-assists in a 3-2 loss, followed by a goal and an assist in a 3-1 London win. Tuesday night in Owen Sound, Griffith continued his torrid scoring pace adding another goal an assist.

Seth Griffith opened the game 3 scoring with a first period powerplay goal assisted by consensus NHL 2011 first rounder Vladislav Namenstnikov. Griffith followed this up with an assist on Ryan Rupert’s first period goal, again on the powerplay.

Griffith now has 6-points in three playoff games as his London Knights trail the Owen Sound Attack 2 games to 1 in their opening round series. Game 4 of the series takes place Thursday in London at 7pm.

With his 6-points, Griffith is the leading scorer on the London Knights in the playoffs, and finds himself in the top 10 OHL playoff scorers.
