Brady Campbell Named Sugar Kings' Rookie of the Year
After winning an Ontario Championship Sutherland Cup with the Elmira Sugar Kings, Blenheim’s Brady Campbell has added another piece of hardward to his trophy case being named the Elmira Sugar Kings’ Rookie of the Year.
Campbell, a former Blenheim Blades star, jumped to Elmira this season and played a key role in the team’s year long success, culminating in a Sutherland Cup title. In 9 games during the Sutherland Cup, Campbell was a force scoring 14 points.
During the regular season, Campbell finished third in team scoring picking up 28 goals and 26 assists for 54 points in 51 games. Campbell, who turns 19 on June 20, will be returning to the Elmira Sugar Kings next season.
