Enache Medals in OFSAA Long Jump

Chatham-Kent Secondary School student Roland Enache found himself with a medal in hand yet again finishing 4th at OFSAA Track and Field grabbing an Antique Bronze in Sudbury this past weekend.

Enache, a grade 9, jumped 5.96 m in the long jump competition, only 1cm out of 3rd and 24 cm behind the first place jumped. To qualify for OFSAA, Enache jumped 6.08 m winning gold at SWOSSAA.

Anique Daley, a grade 10 John McGregor student-athlete finished 9th in the 300m hurdles event, one place out of qualifying for the 300m hurdles final.

Chatham-Kent Secondary School senior boy Thomas Bednarik grabbed a 5th place finish in long jump hitting a final distance of 6.67 m. Bednarik is a previous OFSAA medalist in triple jump.
