The battle for the top of the Niagara Rugby Union Mens B division took place at Victoria Park on the former CCI athletic pitch. The Kent Havoc, who started the game in 3rd place in the league and only  four points out of first place, hosted the league leading Kitchener Knaves.

Under intense heat and hard ground conditions, the fast paced and hard hitting game saw the Kent Havoc finish off the first half leading Kitchener 19-3. The Knaves came out strong in the second half with a converted try; however, the Havoc responded with a penalty kick and a 22-10 victory at the final whistle. The win moves the Havoc senior mens team into second place and drops Kitchener to third. Burlington Centaurs slide into first place, only one point ahead of the Havoc.

Kent Havoc tries were scored by Dave Buis (2) and Tyler Gawley, while Jared Foster had 2 conversions and a penalty kick.

The Havoc Senior Women take on the London St. Georges at 6:30pm at Victoria Park (former CCI pitch) with the Senior Men host Highland on August 30th at 3pm at Victoria Park.
