Chatham-Kent Sports Quote of the Week: Seth Griffith

Seth Griffith of the London Knights has had an amazing year. Despite not being selected in the 2011 NHL draft, Griffith has proven he is one of the OHL’s elite Junior hockey players.

Following last season, Griffith was selected for Team Canada’s World Under-18 Hockey Championship roster, before attending the Tampa Bay Lightning’s training camp. To start this season, Griffith was named the OHL’s player of the week, and now, has been selected to represent the OHL at the SUBWAY Super Series against Team Russia.

This week’s Chatham-Kent Sports Quote comes from Griffith after he learned about his selection,

“It’s a great honour to be chosen to play in the SUBWAY Super Series with a lot of skilled players from the OHL. I’m looking forward to playing in the game in Ottawa November 10th, and also looking forward to the experience.”
