Patriotes OFSAA Bound in Senior Boys Volleyball
It was a first in the school’s history. Wednesday night, the Pain Court Patriotes Senior Boy’s volleyball team captured their first ever SWOSSAA “A” title.
The Senior Boy’squad defeated Harrow 25-12, 25-20, 25-22.
The Patriotes team will now travel to Manatoulin Island next Thursday, Friday, Saturday for the OFSAA Volleyball “A” competition.
The Chatham-Kent Secondary School Golden Hawks Senior Boys will try to join Pain Court as local OFSAA volleyball representatives as they play Windsor St. Joseph’s tonight in the “AAA” SWOSSAA final.
CKSS defeated Lambton Central 25-12, 25-13, 25-11 to advance to the SWOSSAA final. If they win the qualify for OFSAA, it will mark the school’s 12th straight OFSAA final.
The UCC Lancers senior boys squad are also on the hunt for OFSAA, and will play Windsor Holy Names Friday night in the “AAAA” OFSAA final. UCC is the local Kent Senior Champions. They defeated CKSS last week.
