CKSS Junior Boys Fall in Final to St. Patricks
The Chatham-Kent Secondary School Golden Hawks, lead by grade 10 Joel Barwick, fell in the Championship game of the Junior Lancer Classic basketball tournament this past weekend.
Barwick scored 22-points for the Golden Hawks in the final, which they lost 60-48. Barwick was the top scorer for the CKSS Golden Hawks in each of their tournament games.
In the consolation game which featured the UCC Lancers against the JMSS Panthers, John McGregor edged UCC 44-43, with James Gibson leading the way for the Panthers with 15-points.
