Blenheim Bounces Back in OMHA Final With Game 2 Win
After dropping game one of the OMHA ‘CC’ finals in overtime against Tavistock, the Blenheim Minor Hockey Midgets bounced back with a decisive road win in game two to even the series.
Dusty Dietrich scored twice for Blenheim in the 3-0 win, while goaltender Justin Pratt picked up the shutout.
Dietrich also picked up an assist on Kirk McKillop’s first period goal, while Cam Aitken had two assists in the game.
In game one, a 4-3 overtime loss, Aitken, McKillop, and Adam Deseure were the goal scorers for Blenheim, while Blayne Oliver chipped in with two assists.
Game three of the series will be played Monday, March 26 in Tavistock, before returning to Blenheim Wednesday, March 28 at 7:45pm for game four.
