After scoring Thursday night, Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith now sits at 45 goals on the season, with only 5 games remaining. If Griffith were to reach the 50 goal plateau for the London Knights since current NHL star Patrick Kane.

Griffith scored the opening goal for the London Knights Thursday night in a 4-1 win over the Guelph Storm on a great feed from rookie Max Domi.

Last Friday, Griffith, who scored 22 goals last year in 68 games, scored his 4th hat trick of the season in a win against the Oshawa Generals. With his 45 goals, Griffith sits second overall in the OHL in goal scoring behind Los Angeles Kings draft pick and Ottawa 67s sniper Tyler Toffoli.

Griffith also sits 4th in the OHL in scoring with 85 points through 63 games this season. Griffith will again be eligible for the NHL draft this year after being passed over during last year’s NHL Priority Draft.

London will face the Guelph Storm again Friday night in Guelph. Puck drop is at 7:30pm.
