U13 Wildcats Take Silver at Michigan State Tourney

The Chatham-Kent Wildcats Girls U13 Bantam Girls captured Silver at the annual Michigan State University tournament March 10 and 11.

This was the first appearance for the team at this tournament. After finishing second in pool play, the Chatham-Kent Wildcats advanced directly to the semi-finals, where they defeated the Michigan Attack to move on to the gold medal game against the Michigan Prowlers.

With the final down to the wire in their own March Madness, the Wildcats put up a last second shot, but couldn’t convert, falling 2-points shy of the gold, losing the final 40-38 to the Prowlers.
