May 2nd, 2012 the Can-Am Senior Baseball League begins play in what promises to be an exciting and competitive Season.

Already known as the most competitive Baseball League in Southwestern Ontario, the League has further strengthened its competition with the addition of two new teams stemming from the Chatham and Sarnia Areas.

League Play extends from early May 2012 until the end of July 2012. Teams will play a total of 28 games travelling throughout Southwestern Ontario and Michigan.

The League bolsters a competitive balance of current and former College (NCAA & OUA) players and an influx of former Professional players. The Pride and Joy of the League may very well be the diamonds in which games are held, as many are played on some of the nicest and well-kept baseball diamonds in the Province.

This year’s competition includes the following teams.

1) Maple City Brewers
Field: Fergie Jenkins Field at Rotary Park, Chatham

2) Sarnia Braves (21-3 Western County League 2011 Champions)
Field: Errol Russell Park, Sarnia.

3) Troy JetBox Baseball Club
