Dane Fox Participating in NHL Combine
Thamesville’s Dane Fox is participating in the NHL Draft Combine this week in Toronto. Held from May 28 to June 2, the NHL Scouting Combine gives NHL teams a chance to evaluate the top 105 North American and European prospects on the globe.
Fox, who was traded from the London Knights to the Erie Otters midway through this season, and made the best of his time with the Otters, leading the team in scoring with 23 goals and 31 assists.
In the final NHL draft rankings, Fox was ranked 46th amongst North American skaters. Fox also participated in the NHL/CHL Top Prospects game.
At the NHL Draft Combine, prospects are put through a variety of physical fitness tests and have the opportunity to sit down to one-on-one interviews with NHL scouts and general managers.
The NHL draft will take place June 22 and June 23 in Pittsburgh.
