Seth Griffith and the London Knights will not need to battle through a tie breaker game, or the semi-final. The team’s 2-1 round robin record was enough to vault them directly to Sunday’s Memorial Cup final. The Saint John Sea Dogs also finished with a 2-1 record, but their lone loss came at the hands of the London Knights, giving London the edge.

Griffith has a goal and two assists which all came in the Knights’ tournament opening 5-3 win over the Saint John Sea Dogs, who the London Knights could face in Sunday’s final as the Sea Dogs are in Friday’s semi-final against the host Shawinigan Cataractes.

Shawinigan had to win a tiebreaker Thursday against the Edmonton Oil Kings after the two teams finished tied in the round robin.

In their round robin game against Shawinigan the London Knights lost 6-2. Against Saint John, London won 5-3. Saint John was the better of the two Quebec League teams in the regular season and won the QMJHL title.

Puck drop for the final is at 7pm Sunday and will be televised on SportsNet.
