Come Try Ringette Event a Success

The Chatham Ringette Association recently held its 1st ever Come Try Ringette Event on Saturday, September 22nd. This event was established to introduce girls to the sport of Ringette.

Girls and boys, aged 4 and over, took part in a 1 1/2-hour event to introduce them to the fastest game on ice. Skating skills, games and fun were emphasized by the 25+ volunteers that came together to make this event a great success.

Come Try Ringette is a structured program first developed in Western Canada and then adopted by Ringette Canada and distributed to all the Provincial Associations. The CRA is a thriving association with 150 players run by dedicated and passionate volunteers.
