Seth Griffith Named OHL Player of the Week

After receiving the honour twice last season, Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith was named the OHL Player of the Week in the league’s opening week of play.

Griffith, who stars for the London Knights, scored 5 goals and added an assist in two games to start the season.

Now 19, Griffith and the Knights opened the season against the Erie Otters. Griffith scored a hat trick in the game powering the London Knights to an 8-2 win.

The 5th round Boston Bruins draft pick then dazzled in his second game, another 8-2 win, this time against the Guelph Storm, scoring twice and adding an assist.

Last season, Griffith led the London Knights in scoring with 45 goals and 40 assists in 60 games.
