In what was a battle between the only two remaining undefeated team’s left in the KCSSAA senior boys football loop, the Wallaceburg Tartans took a commanding win at the Red Feather celebrations Saturday over the Chatham-Kent Secondary School Golden Hawks.

In the chilly conditions, Wallaceburg walked away with a 36-5 win.

In the opening half, CKSS struggled to contain Wallaceburg’s Jonah Pataki. Pataki scored Wallaceburg’s first three touchdowns to help get his team out to a dominating 28-4 lead at the half. Pataki finished the game with 4 touchdowns.

Clark Green scored all of CKSS’ points including a 33-yard field goal and two rouges.

Friday night, Blenheim was awarded the win over the John McGregor Panthers although the game was stopped early after an on field brawl broke out between the two teams.
