Griffith First Star in Knights’ Win
Griffith assisted on Alex Broadbent’s goal midway through the second period to tie the game 2-2 heading into the third.
In the third, Griffith picked up two more points. On the powerplay, Griffith assisted on Miles Liberati’s game winning goal. Then, at 13:34 of the third, the Boston Bruins prospect scored his 16th goal of the season.
The 3 point night propelled Griffith to second overall in OHL scoring with 16 goals and 22 assists for 38 points in 22 games. Griffith sits only 1 point behind Niagara IceDogs star Ryan Strome for the league lead.
Blenheim’s Kyle Hope did not suit up for the Owen Sound Attack in the game, as he is still serving a 6 game suspension for a hit to the head he threw on November 6 against Guelph.
