Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith will miss time following an injury, in which he broke his hand facing the Kitchener Rangers last weekend.

Griffith, who was currently third in the OHL scoring race, will be out two to four weeks, and will now not have a shot at capturing his first OHL scoring title.

In 54 games this season, Griffith, who is an assistant captain for the OHL leading London Knights, scored 33 goals and added 49 assists. The injury snaps a streak of 190 straight OHL games Griffith has appeared in for the London Knights.

A fifth round Boston Bruins draft pick last season, has been playing upwards of 25 minutes per game for the Knights, seeing time on both the powerplay and penalty kill, leaving a huge void for other Knights forwards to fill.

Continue to follow CKSN for updates on Griffith’s recovery.
