Drew Marlatt Selected in OHL Draft by the Windsor Spitfires
Chatham’s Drew Marlatt was selected in Saturday’s OHL Priority draft by the Windsor Spitfires, 163rd overall.
The Chatham-Kent Secondary School student, was an assistant captain this season with the Chatham-Kent Cyclones Minor Midget AAA team.
Marlatt was second in team scoring for the Cyclones with 8 goals and 14 assists in 27 games this season. In the playoffs, Marlatt led his team in scoring with 8 goals and 8 assists in 18 games.
Marlatt was selected to play in the Alliance Hockey all-star game. He also appeared in one game this season with the Junior B Chatham Maroons, scoring in his first appearance.
Marlatt’s teammate, goaltender Brendan Johnston was also selected by Windsor in the draft.
