Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith, who has had a slow playoff thus far by his own standards, scored a huge goal Tuesday for the London Knights in their OHL playoff series against the Plymouth Whalers.

After busting out to an early 3-0 lead, the London Knights sat on their heels and allowed Plymouth to fight back into the game Tuesday evening. Bo Horvat of Rodney, whose family grew up in Bothwell, scored two shorthanded goals in the first period.

Plymouth scored four unanswered goals in a ten minute span in the third period to take a 4-3 lead.

Max Domi would tie the game on the powerplay, before Griffith, a fifth round pick of the Boston Bruins, would put the London Knights back on top 5-4.

Minutes later, Domi would score his second of the game, assisted by Griffith, into the empty net to make the final score 6-4.

London leads the best of seven series 2-1 with game four Wednesday, and game five Friday.
