Three Locals Headed to ACG Bowl Game
A trio of Chatham-Kent Secondary School Golden Hawks, and Chatham-Kent Cougars football players are headed to the 2013 All Canadian Gridiron Bowl Game. Ben Bartlett, Tanner Emery, and Clark Green will be playing for the Golden Horseshoe Squad against the Greater Toronto Area Squad.
Hosted at Centennial Stadium in Etobicoke this Sunday, May 5th, the game is a recructing and scouting opportunity for CIS and NCAA teams.
All Canada Gridiron All-tar Game
For Green, this is his third consecutive season playing in the All Canadian Gridiron game. Green, a punter and kicker, is signed to play CIS Football with Concordia University. Green’s team has won in each of his two prior appearances in the Bowl Game.
This is Tanner Emery’s first appearance in the ACG Bowl game. The linebacker has signed to play CIS football with Carleton University. This is also Ben Bartlett’s first appearance in the game. The wide receiver will be attending Ottawa University next fall.
