Buis Leads Kent Havoc To Win
The Kent Havoc Mens team, were lead by their Captain, Dave Buis, in a 27-22 win over the Niagara Wasps in Naiagara Rugby Union ‘B’ division action Saturday.
Buis scored two tries for the Havoc, who sit with a 2-1-1 record in the NRU ‘B’ division.
New Havoc member Jack Thomas scored his first try with the club, while Tyler Gawley kicked a drop goal.
On the women’s side, the Kent Havoc dropped a 28-3 to the Wilmot Warthogs on the road. The Havoc Women also play in the Niagara Rugby Union ‘B’ division.
Blenheim’s Breanne Nicholas, who will represent Canada early next month at the Under-20 Nations Cup in England, scored the Havoc’s only 3-points by converting a penalty kick.
The Havoc Women dropped to 2-2 in the NRU ‘B’ Division.
The Kent Havoc Women visit the Norfolk Harvesters on Saturday, July 6, while the Men host the Burlington Centaurs on Saturday, July 6, at 1:30 p.m. at Victoria Park in Chatham.
