Carleton, Canada To Play For Gold
The Chatham resident, and John McGregor Secondary School student scored 9-points for Canada, leading them to a 64-36 win, and a date with the winner of the other semi-final featuring the USA and Mexico, in the gold medal game Sunday.
Carleton also added 3-rebounds, 2-blocks, and an assist in the win.
Heading into the final, Carleton finds herself amongst the tournament leaders in several statistical categories. She is 5th in scoring (12-points per game average), 2nd in both successful 3-point shots per game (2.8) and 3-point shooting percentage (52.4%), 5th in blocks (0.8 per game), and 4th in assists (2 per game).
