Chatham’s Andy Fantuz hasn’t seen the field since the opening game of the CFL season, after suffering a hamstring injury during practice while preparing for game two of the Hamilton Tiger Cats season.

With Fantuz remaining out indefinitely, the Hamilton Tiger Cats, who have struggled this season, welcomed back veteran Dave Stalla, who is coming off a knee injury to boost their young receiving corps. Hamilton however, still fell to 1-4 on the season losing to Fantuz’s former team, the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday 32-20.

Hamilton managed to pass for 395-yards in the loss, but couldn’t stop the Roughriders offense in return.

In his only game this season, Fantuz caught for 155-yards on 10 receptions, including 1 touchdown.

Hamilton will travel to play the Edmonton Eskimos Friday, August 2 for their next regular season game. Edmonton is sitting at an identical 1-4 record as Hamilton, sitting last in the East.
