Griffith Finishes Bruins Development Camp
“It was great to come back,” Griffith told Bruins TV about his time at Boston’s camp. You learn stuff every time, whether it to be on ice stuff, or off ice stuff you can improve on through the rest of the summer. Just little tips here and there with workouts, and it was my first time coming back on the ice, so just getting back used to skating really,” says Griffith about the week.
“I thought it was a really good week,” Bruins Assistant GM Don Sweeney said about the camp.”These guys were dialled in, they did a good job, they embraced the skills aspect of a couple days.”
Griffith, who was a fifth round selection of the Bruins in the 2012 NHL Draft, will return to the London Knights for his final season in the Ontario Hockey League. Griffith has helped the London Knights to the Memorial Cup two straight seasons, and will play again in the country’s top Junior championship next season, as the London Knights will host the 2014 Memorial Cup.
