Griffith Starts Camp With Bruins
Griffith started skates with a group of Boston Bruins prospects and free agents Wednesday at the Bruins practice facility, the Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Massachusetts.
“Development Camp is an exciting time for everyone in the organization because it brings a peer group together that provides a glimpse into potential Bruins’ roster members,” said Bruins assistant General Manager Don Sweeney in a team news release regarding the camp. “Every player is being discussed in terms of a progression from last year’s camp or because they have been just drafted or signed as a free agent: how quickly can they make an impact in the group?”
Griffith was a 5th round selection of the Boston Bruins in last year’s NHL draft.
Last season with the London Knights, Griffith had 33 goals and 48 assists, at one point leading the OHL in scoring, before having his 54 game season ended with a wrist injury. Griffith did rejoin the Knights in the playoffs helping them reach the Memorial Cup.
