Roszell Hired By Saint John Sea Dogs
“I am extremely excited to join the Sea Dogs,” Roszell said in a team news release. “I’ve been fortunate to be involved with the club for several years. I believe my passion for the game and for the team will make this an amazing experience.”
Following his time at CCI, Roszell graduated from the Broadcast Journalism and Television News programs at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Although he is taking a new position with the organization, Roszell will continue to call Sea Dogs games on the radio, as he did for Saint John’s 2011 Memorial Cup victory, and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League championships in 2010-11 and ’11-12.
“Tim is unquestionably one of the best broadcasters in junior hockey and his name is synonymous with the Sea Dogs,” Saint John team president Wayne Long said in the news release. “We are thrilled to add someone with the credentials of Tim Roszell to the Sea Dog Team.”
“Our plans are to take communication to our great fans to a different level and we feel Tim can bring a whole new element to this,” Long continued.
The Saint John Sea Dogs could not have found a better person for the position as Manager of Media and Communications. His broadcasting skills are second to none. All the best in the upcoming season.
