Chatham native Dave Gagner has stepped from his position as the Vancouver Canucks Director of Player Development, to join the Orr Hockey Group, Bobby Orr’s Player Agency.

Gagner has served as Vancouver’s Director of Player Development since 2008, working with the Canucks’ drafted and young prospects to assure their continued professional growth and development.

Drafted in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft, Gagner is an NHL veteran of 946 games with 7 NHL teams, where he recorded 719 points and more than 1000 penalty minutes.

The Orr Hockey Group manages roughly 100 NHL athletes and contracts, worth more than $400 million, including major contracts of NHL stars such as Jason Spezza, Jeff Carter, Eric Stall, and Nathan Horton. The Orr Hockey Group was incorporated in 2002.
