Lancers, Hawks Win SWOSSAA Volleyball Finals

The Chatham-Kent Secondary School Golden Hawks Junior Boys and UCC Lancers Senior Boys both won their SWOSSAA volleyball finals on Friday.

Facing the St. Anne Saints in the SWOSSAA ‘AAAA’ senior boys volleyball final, UCC swept the SWOSSAA match 25-21, 25-23, 25-18. The win sends the Lancers to OFSAA in Mississauga from November 21-23. Last year UCC won bronze at OFSAA.

Also on Friday, the CKSS Golden Hawks hosted their own SWOSSAA final, sweeping Windsor’s St.Joseph in three games to secure the Junior Boys SWOSSAA Volleyball Championship.
