Only hours after putting up seven points against the St. Marys Lincolns in an 11-1 route, Kyle Brothers did it again versus the LaSalle Vipers Sunday night in Chatham.

The unstoppable Chatham sniper scored four goals, and added an assist for five points in Chatham’s 8-4 victory over the Vipers, for the team’s ninth straight victory. Brothers now leads the GOJHL in scoring with 31 goals and 71 points in only 30 games this season.

Maroons captain Michael Verboom also had his second straight multi-point game, scoring once and setting up three of Brothers’ goals. After missing five games with an injury earlier this season, Verboom has managed to climb back into the GOJHL’s top five in scoring, sitting fourth.

The duo will play in the upcoming GOJHL All-Star game over the Christmas break.

After scoring a hat trick in his first game with Chatham, Jared Dennis had a goal and an assist for Chatham against LaSalle. Also scoring for the Maroons were Hayden Verbeek and Mark Fratarcangelli.

Chatham is now off until January 3 when they’ll travel to St. Marys to face the Lincolns.
