Fox Continues To Lead OHL
After back to back weeks as a finalist for the OHL’s Player of the Week honours, Fox remains atop the OHL in goal scoring with 31 goals in 28 games.
Fox is also second in overall scoring with 54 points trailing only his Erie Otters teammate, and Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Connor Brown, who has one point more than Fox, sitting with 55.
Thursday, Fox scored a second period goal, and a third period goal en route to being named the game’s second star of a 6-4 Erie win over Guelph. Friday facing the Mississauga Steelheads Fox had a hat trick, and added another three points, a goal and two assists Saturday against Mississauga, both lopsided wins for Erie..
After multiple years dwelling the OHL’s basement, the Otters are sitting atop the league with divisional rivals, the Guelph Storm. As well, the Otters were ranked second in the CHL’s weekly rankings.
Fox, an undrafted NHL free agent, attended the St. Louis Blues’ training camp this past offseason, and will likely have NHL teams lining up to have him attend their camps this summer.
