UCC Wins Hall of Fame Tournament

UCC-Lancers-LogoThe UCC Lancers were victorious, capturing the crown at the 44th annual Chatham Sports Hall of Fame Blue and White senior boys basketball tournament.

Ian Comiskey and Luke Allin, who had been solid for the Lancers throughout the tournament, again led the way in the final, helping the Lancers to a 67-51 win over the Windsor Assumption Purple Raiders. Comiskey had 18-points, while Allin had 16-points

Aaron Rupert added 15, while Jazz Migeul-White, who was the team’s top scorer in the semi-final, had 10.

Migeul-White had 19-points for UCC in their 60-38 win over General Amherst in the semi-final, while Allin had 14.

Allin, who is the younger brother of OUA star Max Allin, was the Lancers leading scorer in the tournament. He topped all UCC scorers in their first two wins of the tournament, scoring 22-points, and 17-points in wins over Windsor Kennedy and St. Thomas St. Joseph’s in the first rounds of play.

In the CKSS bracket, the Golden Hawks finished third, defeating Kennedy 55-36.
