Dr. Ytsma Comeback of the Week: Bobcats Burn Flames

After being the victim of last week’s comeback, the Blenheim Bobcats Senior Boys basketball team staged their own late game heroics this week, completing the Dr. Sarah Ytsma Comeback of the Week, for the week ending January 22.

After remaining close through the first half of the game, the Chatham Christian Flames would edge ahead of the Blenheim Bobcats in the third quarter of their KCSSAA basketball game on January 16. Blenheim however, would have the last laugh, scoring 20 fourth quarter points, compared to Chatham Christian’s 7-points, to take the 50-40 win.

After three quarters, Blenheim trailed 33-30, but received strong performances from Jared Hansen, who had 21-points, Dylan Webster, who chipped in 12-points, and Matt Revie who had 7-points. Cam Koomans was the top Chatham Christian scorer in the game with 16-points.
