After losing their first game of the 39th Annual Cambridge Ringette Tournament, the U19 Chatham Thunder completed the Comeback of the Week, sponsored by Dr. Sarah Ytsma, for the week ending January 8.

The Chatham Thunder fell 3-1 to Waterloo to open their tournament, meaning they needed to be almost perfect to stay in contention, before battling back to win their next four games and capture the tournament title.

Facing Gloucester-Cumberland in the final, Chatham capped off their comeback weekend winning the gold medal game 4-3, with goals from Hannah Doforno, Tristen Stewart, Kayla Therrien and Courtney Roberts in the final.
