The 1st Annual Dave Allin Classic, elementary school boys basketball tournament was a hit both on and off the court.

The fundraising event raised roughly $21,000 for the Windsor-Essex County ALS Society through registration fees, donations, and a silent auction.

Windsor General Brock Bulldogs won the first annual tournament, defeating Chatham’s Indian Creek Road Sun Devils 64-42 in the final. Chatham’s Queen Elizabeth II Knights, who were coached by Allin for years before his passing last January, took the consolation final with a 28-22 win over St. Ursula’s.
