Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith is beginning to hit his stride as a professional rookie in the American Hockey League.

The Providence Bruins forward has enjoyed a strong February, climbing to 19th in AHL rookie scoring with 11 goals and 19 assists in 46 games.

Over the weekend, Griffith collected four points in back to back 3-2 wins over Hartford and St. John’s. Griffith had two assists in each win, and was named the game’s second star Friday against St. John’s.

Griffith was a 5th round draft choice of the NHL’s Boston Bruins in 2012.

Griffith and the Providence Bruins are on the road this coming weekend, playing the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins Saturday, February 22, and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Sunday, February 23.
