Johnson, Everitt, Gehl Off To Winter Games

Three local members of the Chatham Ballhawks Under 16 Boys Volleyball Team will be travelling to Midland February 27 to March 2 to compete in the Ontario Winter Games.

Trevor Everitt, Dawson Gehl, and Pierce Johnson were selected to the Region 3 West Team. Trevor Everitt and Pierce Johnson both attend Chatham-Kent Secondary School, and were part of CKSS’ Junior Volleyball Team that won Kent and (AAA) SWOSSAA Championships last fall.

Dawson Gehl attends Ursuline College Chatham where he also plays volleyball.

All three are part of the team which won Gold in the Tier II OVA Provincial Championships last April, and have won Gold and Silver medals in two of their O.V.A. tournaments so far this year.
