Lancers Win Kent Senior Basketball Title

The UCC Lancers completed a perfect regular season Saturday in front of a loud home crowd, defeating the CKSS Golden Hawks to capture the KCSSAA Kent Senior Basketball ‘AA-AAA-AAAA’ title.

The Lancers trailed by more than 10-points in the second quarter, bu fought back for a 55-51 win.

Jazz Miguel-White had his best game of the 2013-2014 season, draining 27-points or the UCC Lancers, wile Luke Allin had 11-poins nd Logan Howard had 9-points in the in.

CKSS Golden Hawks big man Ian Smart had 18-points in the losing effort, while Marley Blommers had 14-poins, and Jol Barwick chipped in with 9-points.

Both UCC and CKSS will now face Lambton and Windsor-Essex opponents to see who will advance to SWOSSAA and OFSAA basketball.
