Finals Schedule Released, Maroons Start Thursday

The Chatham Maroons have a few more days of practice, before they kick off the GOJHL Western Conference final against the Leamington Flyers on the road.

Game one will take place Thursday, March 27 in Leamington, before the Maroons host the Flyers for game two Friday, March 28 at 8pm.

In their regular season series, the Leamington Flyers took a 4-2 edge on the Maroons, however one of those games was a forced forfeit due to Chatham’s use of import cards. As well, with the exception of the forfeited game, which Chatham won on the ice, the Maroons have not faced the Flyers since November 24.

Leamington comes off a 4-1 win over London, while Chatham swept the LaSalle Vipers 4-0.

The remainder of the GOJHL finals schedule, with game one March 27, and game two March 28, is as follows.

• Game 3 – Sunday, March 30, at Leamington, 4pm
• Game 4 – Tuesday, April 1, at Chatham, 7pm
• Game 5 – Thursday, April 3, at Leamington, 7pm
• Game 6 – Sunday, April 6, at Chatham, 7pm
• Game 7 – Monday, April 7, at Leamington, 7pm
