Five Questions With Matt Clark
A Ridgetown District High School grad, Clark also plays fastball in the offseason.
Clark has been a contributor for the Ridgetown-Blenheim Chiefs all season, including in the OMHA semi-final deciding game, where he had a goal and an assist in the Chiefs’ win that advanced them to their final series. Clark continued that scoring in the final, hitting the scoresheet multiple times in the opening games against Drayton.
Below are Matt Clark’s answers to CKSN’s Five Questions:
1. What is your career sports highlight/top memory?
My top career sports highlight is playing for the Chiefs this season and meeting a bunch of great new guys.
2. Who is your favourite professional sports team and athlete?
My favourite professional sports team is the Boston Bruins and I have two favourite athlete, Josh Paine and Milan Lucic. Josh because of his unreal hands and smarts on the ice and Lucic because of his ability to do everything on the ice.
3. If you could achieve one thing/goal in sports, what would it be?
If I could achieve one goal in sports it would definitely be winning an OMHA championship this season with the Chiefs.
4. Who has been your biggest sports influence and why?
My biggest sports influences have been my parents and friends, they’ve always supported me through everything and in every sport I’ve played.
5. What do you love most about playing sports?
What I love most about playing sports is meeting new people every year and making new friends and obviously the team parties.
