Kent Basketball All-Stars Named

From the Kent champion UCC Lancers basketball team, Jazz Miguel-White, Luke Allin, Aaron Rupert, and Ian Comiskey were all recognized. UCC defeated the CKSS Golden Hawks 55-51 in the Kent final. Miguel-White scored 27-points in the final.
The Lancers also had strong showings in their tournaments over the season, falling in the consolation final in the All-Catholic Classic in St. Catherines, and winning the 44th annual Chatham Sports Hall of Fame Blue and White senior boys basketball tournament.
From the Kent finalist CKSS squad, Ian Smart, Joel Barwick, and Marley Blommers were all recognized. The Hawks were also a strong tournament team this year with silver medals in the Roach-Towler final at the Silver Fox Invitational in Hamilton, Fanshawe Basketball Tournament held in London, and a gold at the Thrasher Tournament in Sarnia.
Barwick and Comiskey were coach’s choice selections, while Luke Allin was selected as the league MVP.
Gabe Gagner of the John McGregor Panthers was the final all-star selection.
