Eren Vanderiviere is a 28-year-old racing driver from Chatham, Ontario.

Vanderiviere competes in the Sports Stock division at South Buxton Raceway, finishing atop the Sport Stock standings last year, after winning 9 feature races.

2013 was the Chatham-Kent Secondary School graduate’s third consecutive overall points title at South Buxton in the Sport Stock division. Prior to that, it was Eren’s brother Eric Vanderiviere who won the sport stock division, although Eric now races in the UMP Modifieds division.

Below are Eren Vanderiviere’s answers to CKSN’s Five Questions:

1.What is your career sports highlight/top memory?

Winning three points championships in a row.

2. Who is your favourite professional sports team and athlete?

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Phil Kessel, as well as Rusty Wallace.

3. If you could achieve one thing/goal in sports, what would it be?

Move up a class in racing to modified or late model and be competitive.

4. Who has been your biggest sports influence and why?

My dad and brother Eric who has been racing five years longer than me and gave me a race car to start with.

5. What do you love most about playing sports?

Competing, winning, and having fun.
