Local MMA fighter, Chris Clements of Tupperville, recently re-signed with the UFC for another four fight deal.

Clements who announced the new deal via social media, has an 11-5-0 professional MMA record, and has three UFC fighters under his belt.

Clements wrote, “I’ve Been down with injury but I’m not out! Just Signed my NEW 4 fight contract with @UFC.”

The 38-year-old Clements opened his UFC career with a split decision win over Keith Wisniewsk at UFC 145. After an overturned decision in his fight against Matt Riddle, Clements lost his next bout to Stephen Thompson by TKO at UFC 165.

Clements underwent shoulder surgery and has been recovering for close to a year. Although no fight has been booked, Clements is expected to find his way back into the UFC cage in the near future.
