Durston Grabs Early OLA Junior A Scoring Lead

Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston is not only tearing up the OLA Junior B loop with the Wallaceburg Red Devils, the Wallaceburg resident is also the OLA Junior A Lacrosse League’s leading scorer with the Six Nations Arrows.

Through the first three games of the OLA season, Durston has powered Six Nations to a perfect 3-0 record, and sits atop the OLA scoring race with 4 goals and 18 assists for 22 points.

Monday, Durston topped all Six Nations Arrows scorers in a 17-3 win over the Barrie Lakeshores with two goals and five assists.

Saturday, while with the Wallaceburg Red Devils, and a night after picking up seven assists with Six Nations in a win over Brampton, Durston had two goals and six assists leading Wallaceburg to a 12-7 win over the Welland Generals.

Playing alongside Durston again this season with both the Red Devils and Arrows, is fellow Wallaceburg resident Joel Shepley, who is playing regular minutes with the Arrows, and captains the Red Devils.
