Arrows Look To Advance, Durston Out
Six Nations won their game Friday against Peterborough 15-7, to tie the best of seven series at 2-2. Wallaceburg’s Joel Shepley, and Tilbury’s Brandon Montour both played in the win, with Montour picking up an assist.
Johnny Powless topped all Six Nations scorers, collecting 7 points in the win.
The Arrows will be without Jordan Durston, who suffered a knee injury in the series, it looks like for the remainder of the series, although Durston did not rule out a return for himself to the playoffs.
Durston had 20-points for the Six Nations Arrows in 6 playoff games including 10-points.
Six Nations plays Peterborough Sunday night in what could be a deciding game.
Should they advance, Six Nations could potentially face another Wallaceburg lacrosse product, Zach Herreweyers, who is one of the top scorers for the Brampton Excelsiors.
